Located in Quincy, Florida, we play every other Sunday. We are an informal
group who enjoy woodsball and scenario play. Anyone is welcome to join us.
There is no charge for field usage, but we do collect donations for Farm Share and for field upkeep.
While some of us are very serious about our paintball, the first rules are Have Fun and Be Safe.
FIELD INFO
We have a variety of paintballs ranging in price and quality as well as CO2 and HPA air fills available for purchase at the field provided by RandS Paintball Supplies.
BWR has been around for many years and is now located on a new field in Quincy, FL. It consists of a netted "top field" (speedball variant) right next to parking so there's no long "gear lug" as well as a large scenario/woodsball field set in a beautiful wooded valley with varied terrain elevation, giant oak trees, large theme bunkers, and a small stream. Parking and both fields are SHADED which makes our place the only one we know of in the area with a speedball field you can play in the Summer without guaranteed heat stroke.
The guys at BWR are friendly and safety oriented. We provide a netted chrono station, air fills (3k), CO2 fills, plenty of shaded table space right next to the field, a grill that you're welcome to throw food on, a burn barrel in the winter to stay warm, and a friendly atmosphere.
Paint is available at a reasonable cost (varies according to quality and type available). Rentals and sometimes loaner gear is available in limited quantity (contact us on the website if you need more than a few). Play days are every other Sunday as listed on the top of the page. We are NOT a professional field, but the public is welcome to join us as long as you play safe, stay chrono'd, keep your mask on when on the field, and barrel sock on when off the field.
Minors (under 18) MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parents are welcome to hang out next to the field if they don't want to play, but we do not provide daycare service. At least one adult is required per group of minor players. A release must be signed by each minor player's parent or court appointed guardian. Click here for the release.
A very reasonable field fee is charged based on how much we need to collect to keep up with insurance costs, road maintenance, and air costs at the moment. All-day air is included in the field fee. If you have questions, feel free to ask on the website forum.
We do have a 20 foot "gentleman's rule" in affect unless everyone playing specifically waives it. This means giving someone the option to surrender if you are within 20' and they don't know you are there. Fines are levied for first-time safety violations and second-time violations = ejection from the site. This especially includes mask and barrel sock violations.
Bring: Drinking water, insect repellant, food/charcoal for the grill, portable toilet for #2 (temporary, but we don't charge enough to rent a porta-let), shelter/raingear if it's rainy, paintball gear (if you have some) including BARREL SOCK, friendly attitude and sportsmanship. To save time, especially if you are bringing a group of players, click here to print our release. Each player will need to fill one out completely and sign it, no exceptions. All minors will need a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. Keep this in mind when planning parties! If the parents aren't going to be at the field, you MUST bring their parentally signed waivers!
Do NOT Bring: Paint (field paint only--any paint you buy at the field can be used later at the field), unaccompanied minors, lax safety practices, cheating/wiping, poor attitude or bad sportsmanship, littering, low-clearance vehicles if it's rainy, airsoft, alcohol, or drugs.
This is not a for-profit field. This is not a business. We are just some guys allowing you to play on our field to promote the sport and enjoy some paintball. Some of our regulars include local off-duty police officers, just FYI. Everyone is treated as a friend until proven otherwise, but we don't tolerate any foolishness.
